The Salvation Army of Augusta will be closing the Kroc Center and both Family Stores beginning Wednesday.
A news release states that it hopes to reopen them April 1. The decision to temporarily close follows the recommendation provided by local health officials.
“During this brief pause, The Salvation Army will be working hard to deep clean and sanitize their facilities to ensure a great reopening,” the release states. “This will ensure steady work and no lapse in income for The Salvation Army’s faithful team members.”
