Message From Our Divisional Commander

Dear Friends,

Maj PowellWhat a privilege it is to be able to serve in The Salvation Army Georgia Division along with such a dedicated group of officers, staff, and volunteers. As a result of their efforts, thousands of fellow Georgians have been helped with needs as basic as food, clothing, and shelter. But in spite of all that has been accomplished this year, there are still children who need food, homework assistance, and a positive place to spend time. There are still single parents struggling to provide for their small families. There are still individuals with alcohol and drug dependencies who want to break free of their addictions. There is still much to be done. The Salvation Army is committed to bringing the light of hope to those in need; the love of Christ compels us to reach out and serve.

We need your help. Please remember The Salvation Army with your financial gifts and your prayers. Feel free to contact us if you would like to hear more about what The Salvation Army does in your community and how you can make a difference. We pray that God will bless you and your family as you share your resources with those in need.

May God bless you!

Major Charles Powell
Divisional Commander
